Ist March 1969 was the date that Bould Consulting Limited founder and chairman Martyn Bould arrived in Jamaica and started work as a chartered quantity surveyor and project manager on the Medical Associates hospital expansion project in Kingston. Soon thereafter followed a visit to the Cayman Islands to explore opportunities there including reviewing extensions to the Beach Club Colony and a new office building for the Bank of Nova Scotia.
An opportunity also arose to develop Cayman’s first town house development Cayman Court with a group of investors from Jamaica. In the early 70’s Martyn introduced squash to Cayman with the Panton family with development of the Cayman Racquet Club.
Numerous other projects followed many of them “firsts” in their particular arena and also a passion for preserving Cayman’s heritage and developing its cultural awareness and activities which led to the founding of the Cayman National Cultural Foundation and the building of the Harquail theatre.
Ist March 2019 therefore celebrated exactly 50 years of this wonderful journey and in true West Indian manner a 3 day party was held at Bould Consulting Limited chairman’s and his wife Vivian’s residence “Callaloo” in the Cayman Islands Yacht Club attended by many of the people who made the journey both possible and so enjoyable.

Bould Consulting Limited long association with the British Virgin Islands and our many friends and business colleagues there, enabled a rapid response to assist with the rebuild following the devastation caused by hurricane Irma and Maria in September 2017.
