Bould Consulting Limited Chairman, Mr. Martyn Bould, and Managing Director Mr. Michell Vargas, participate in the fourth formal meeting of the CGI Action Network on Post-Disaster Recovery in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands in the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Sports and Fitness Center.
This invitation-only event included the participation of over 450 high-level representatives from government, civil society, business and academia; key priorities and needs of the region were presented and tangible next steps for opportunities and collaboration.
Important issues relative to the recovery process after hurricanes Irma and Maria were discussed, including looking at developing resilience for the LongTerm, leveraging the tourism for the Long-Term Sustainability, and others. As President Clinton mentioned in his introductory speech, the expected result of the action network is to “make the Caribbean stronger, safer and more sustainable”.
