As part of our continued support to our Tourism Sector Clients, Michell Vargas, Managing Director of Bould Consulting Limited, participated as Trade Visitor in the 45th edition of the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair in the city of Madrid, Spain from the 22nd to the 24th of January 2023.
FITUR provided a dynamic and unique opportunity for Bould Consulting Limited to meet with current clients as well as reach new potential clients that are developing or planning to develop key projects in the Caribbean. Michell had the opportunity as well to participate in private presentation with Financing entities, major DR Banks and Investment funds, as well and providing technical support to clients. This special edition was themed under "Proudly. We are Toursim". the Fair promoted a sustainable, inclusvie and competitive tourism model, based on diversification and new technologies.
FITUR is the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Ibero American markets and is the first major international trade fair this year in Europe to take place. The fair took place in its usual location at the IFEMA Grounds, with all the necessary health and safety precautions.
FITUR attracted a total of 255,000 attendees, 155,000 professionals had been registered, after closing.
In terms of participation, the fair brought together 9,500 companies, 156 countries, 884 exhibitors, in 8 halls of the exhibition centre, which represented a net exhibition area of 66,900 m2.
