Elizabeth Beach Resort sits on 47.5 acres of land with frontage to Lambert Bay, on the North East end of Tortola. The resort comprises of 38 guestrooms including restaurant, bar, function rooms, spa and an extensive swimming pool.
The resort also contains 25 condominium units ranging from studio to 1 bedroom apartments.
The project was due to complete prior to Hurricane Irma and Maria, however sustained heavy damage from both storms. One of the key issues was to identify the completion value of the hotel post hurricane in order to satisfy the insurers, as well as the lender. Bould Consulting Limited initial role was to assist with the insurance claim, which include negotiation with adjusters and finalizing settlement. The role expanded to Project monitor to assist with bank drawdowns to the Client. We acted as impartial consultants to track both programme and budget allocation / spending on the project with drawdown reports to allow the bank to release funds to the Client.
The Client has benefitted from Bould Consulting Limited timely issuance of reports to the bank to allow for funds to be drawdown from the bank and construction work to continue seamlessly.
