Bould Consulting Limited were appointed to undertake the Reinstatement Cost Assessment of two Renaissance hotel properties within Aruba and Curacao in order for the insurance company to correctly assess the level of coverage.
Aruba properties included the Marina Hotel with 276-key hotel, Renaissance Mall and Crystal Casino / Theatre, Ocean Suite hotel with 256-keys, Market Place, Convention Centre and the Seaport Casino.
Curacao properties covered the 237-key hotel, Garage building, Retail and Swimming pool building, Casino and the Rif Fort shopping mall.
The reinstatement cost assessment report is a key document for both the Insured and Insurer. It allows the Insurer to be able to assess the level of coverage for the properties, as well as providing the Insured that they are not “under insured”.
Two large properties on two different islands culminating in approximately 1.1million sq.ft. of gross internal area which required to be inspected for the report in a short turn-around time.
