Barbados, September 14th, 2022 - Bould Consulting Limited along with sister company IDEA commenced work on 1st May 2022 as Onsite Project Managers for Elegant Hotel properties in Barbados. Elegant Hotels are part of Marriott International’s portfolio of hotels.
Marriott International, who acquired Elegant Hotels in 2019, has contracted BCL/IDEA to provide the Onsite Project Management services for an extensive renovation, including the preconstruction and construction, equipping and hand-over of these properties, including general coordination, establish and carry out the various procurement procedures, establish and apply the appropriate project controls (quality, time and cost).
Property will remain open and operational during the renovation and a phased re-opening is expected between Q4 2022 and 2023. The extensive project includes improvements to the guestrooms as defined by the interior design solutions, redesign of public spaces and upgrades to existing standards as required by Marriott.
BCL’s involvement on projects in Barbados has been both longstanding and wide ranging from the airport, business parks, luxury condominiums, schools, hotels, banks, embassies and offices and the team is delighted to be working on the latest and exciting project.
