BCL chairman Martyn Bould attended Caribbean Council’s Annual General Meeting and Christmas Reception held at the Caledonian Club in London’s Belgravia on 2nd December 2021.
Lord Bruce, Chairman of the Caribbean Council, opened the proceedings noting the Council’s role in networking interested parties to work towards exchange of skills and information, and Managing Director Chris Bennett highlighted the many activities and achievements of the Council even in the face of restrictions due to COVID.
A visit to Guyana is planned in February 2022 to explore joint opportunities particularly given the expansion of the oil industry there.
The Christmas drinks reception following the AGM enabled great networking opportunities with both tourism and ambassadors from Caribbean countries as well as leading business and professionals discussing forward plans as we emerge from the pandemic.
