This year’s Governor’s Award for Design and Construction Elegance was won in the Residential category by Botanica an innovative combination of cottages offering accommodation for families using a variety of different sized units and in the Commercial category by contractor Arch and Godfrey of their offices utilizing a traditional Caymanian home fronting onto Mary Street in George Town.
The presentation was made by His Excellency Martyn Roper OBE at a cocktail function at Government House on the evening of 27th January 2022 attended by leading members of the construction and development industries in the Cayman Islands. Special guest was the Minister for Overseas Territories Amanda Millington. BCL was represented by Chairman Martyn Bould.
The Governor’s Award is held every 2 years to celebrate design and construction excellence in the Cayman Islands. Each award focuses on different sectors of the industry.
