The Jalousie Enclave will be the first “green” resort in the world offering buyers the opportunity to own property in a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is designed to be an exclusive Luxury Caribbean community offering 5 star amenities to its residents and guests. The residential resort, a combination of villas and custom homes, is located in one of the most meticulously preserved natural environments in the world.
The Enclave is set in 187 acres located between the world famous Pitons near the town of Soufriere The scheme comprises a collection of 21 two or three-bedroom villas and 52 custom homes together with a world-class spa and two fine dining restaurants in the planned $7 million Clubhouse, as well as a private Club pool and lake.
All structures at The Jalousie Enclave will be built to the United States Green Building Council's highest Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards ensuring the preservation of the area's protected natural resources. The Jalousie Enclave will complement the natural beauty of its surroundings with carefully designed homes, amenities and landscaping. Low-hanging fruit trees will be planted to aid natural runoff; and drainage catchments on the mountainsides have stopped erosion. As a true model for sustainable living, The Jalousie Enclave will use filtered "gray" water in each home's WCs, solar-powered water heaters and some green roofs.

The team have to date reviewed the entire scheme, rationalised the infrastructure design and tendered a more economic scheme which better satisfies the design intent. This has also been separated into phases to maximize cashflow and avoid abortive work.
